ALLOW THE HOW

Do you keep yourself from dreaming big or dreaming at all because you just don’t see how you could get the thing it is you want?

Well, the good news is you don't have to have every action step figured out in order to align with our authentic desires. Holding a desire and trusting we are worthy of receiving it and that the path will unfold to it is enough to get the thing you really want.

Many of us get stuck on the "how" and end up not even trying. But the good news is, you don't need to have every step figured out to start moving towards your dreams. It's enough to simply hold the desire, trust that you're worthy of it, and believe that the path will unfold.

When you focus on the what (your desire) instead of the how, you open yourself up to inspiration, helpful nudges, and opportunities you never would have considered before. This is what we mean by "allowing the how." It sounds simple, and it can be, but it requires a conscious shift in your thinking.

Here's a breakdown of how to allow the how:

  1. Identify Your Desire (The What): This usually happens naturally. Life experiences help you clarify what you want. As you experience different things, you automatically update your preferences. Deep down, you always focus on what you want.

  2. Trust and Know: Trust that your desires are possible. Believe that there's a universal intelligence that will guide you in the easiest way for you. This "easiest way" depends on your current beliefs. Think of it like this: the universe works with what you've got. Self-awareness is key here. The more you understand your own beliefs, the better you can understand the path unfolding before you. (And remember, beliefs can change over time.)

  3. Enjoy the Unfolding (The Feeling): This is where the magic happens. Focus on enjoying each step of the journey. Guide your thoughts towards what feels good. As you do this, you'll start to feel better. When you feel better, even more positive thoughts and exciting ideas will flow in. Act on these inspired ideas simply because they bring you joy. That’s what it means to live in alignment – doing things because they feel good, not for any specific outcome.

So, how do you guide your thoughts into alignment? You have a built-in guidance system: your feelings. Your feelings tell you whether your thoughts are in line with your true desires. Any feeling less than good is a signal that you're blocking yourself from guidance.

Since feeling good is key to receiving, the question becomes: how do you feel better? Feeling better is the alignment process. It's a gentle, self-soothing practice where you deliberately choose to focus on what feels good. When you feel better, you're in receiving mode. Inspired ideas will flow in. You'll recognize them because they feel good to think about and are easy to act on. They spark joy and excitement.
