Hatch maternity clothes are known for their chic styles and comfortable fits, but the price tag is undoubtedly on the higher end. I don’t believe maternity fashion should break the bank, so I found myself exploring Hatch maternity dupes and alternatives during my three pregnancies.

A year after giving birth to my last baby, I noticed my favorite online home store started offering maternity and postpartum clothes that were DUPES for Hatch maternity clothes. How could this be?

When I was pregnant I found myself looking for maternity and postpartum clothes that would make me feel good! My body was changing so fast and not to mention, the morning sickness made me feel all blah!
I quickly found a website called Hatch Maternity that had clothes that looked stylish and comfortable. The only downside was the prices were a bit high for my personal preference.
I didn’t love the idea of spending money on a wardrobe that would only last me 3-9 months. Hatch Maternity clothes rarely go on sale, but if I timed it right, I’d hit a seasonal sale. The best time to shop is usually between seasons around the holidays or right after the new Year.
For my first pregnancy I purchased a few hatch maternity pieces on sale, which still added up to quite amount of money.

Can I resell my Hatch Maternity Clothes and/or my dupes?
When I was finished, I resold my hatch maternity clothes on Poshmark and made back approximately 50% of my investment. (If you want to save $10 on your first Poshmark purchase you can do so here!). I’ve been able to resell most of my Quince clothes and I make back about 20% of my investment.

And the answer to that is YES!!! They don’t have a huge selection yet, but I found their hospital sets super cute and priced fairly!

Whether or not you decide to invest in Hatch Maternity Clothes, or go with a great dupe, it all is based on how the clothes make you feel when you’re wearing them. Does it feel luxurious? Does it feel valuable? Does it feel comfortable?
My personal taste has always been comfortable luxury, which also means its something comfortable with my budget. I loved the few Hatch clothes I purchased but I also resold them after to help recoup some of the cost of them, which helped me feel like they were comfortable for my budget.
If I were to get pregnant again, I’d go with a Hatch Dupe from Quince and then regift them to a pregnant friend or family member.
